Education Forum III: Gyn/Onc in the OB Ward

Description: This forum will discuss the role of the gynecologic oncologist when called to assist the obstetrician with women with placental abnormalities and obstetrical hemorrhage. The session will review the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative management strategies for these complicated cases. Additionally the course will describe the role for intravascular balloon catheter embolization well as intraoperative blood product and fluid management strategies.
