Education Forum II: Patient Perspectives on Cancer Care

Saturday, March 28, 2015: 4:00 PM-5:30 PM
Waldorf Room (Hilton Chicago)
Description: Has anyone ever asked patients about what they care about most when choosing a treatment plan? Is an improvement in PFS worth additional treatment toxicity when OS is not likely to improve with a new treatment? This course will explore the patient's perspective on her care and the development of tools and strategies to get the patient's voice and preferences into cancer treatment decisions.
