Working to Eradicate Gynecologic Cancers

Scientific Plenary IV: The Farr Nezhat Surgical Innovation Session

Sunday, March 29, 2015: 7:30 AM-9:20 AM
International Ballroom (Hilton Chicago)
Description: Scientific Plenary IV: Surgical/Laparoscopic Plenary: The Farr Nezhat Surgical Innovation Session consists of a series of presentations addressing novel basic science research, diagnostic to advanced surgical procedures in Ovarian , endometrial and cervical cancers. Including laparoscopic radical hysterectomy in early cervical cancer. Topics such as sentinel lymph node mapping for uterine cancer as well the more controversial uterine power morcellation will be covered. This year, the Farr Nezhat Lectureship award will be presented to Dr. Joo-Hyun Nam from South Korea for his impact on minimally invasive surgical techniques in early cervical cancer.
