Education Forum V: Contemporary Radiation Therapy in Gynecologic Cancer: What Surgeons Need to Know

Sunday, March 29, 2015: 4:00 PM-5:15 PM
Grand Ballroom (Hilton Chicago)
Description: In the multidisciplinary management of gynecologic cancer, each modality specialty should have a good understanding of the methodology (technical/extent of coverage) of other complimentary modalities. Just as surgical technique and extent of surgery influences radiation treatment planning, a gynecologic oncologist needs to appreciate the techniques and nuances of radiotherapy in order to formulate the best combined treatment approach for an individual patient.
