Biographical Sketch: Mitchell Edelson, M.D. is presently a gynecologic oncologist at the Hanjani Instititue for Gynecology Oncology, Abington Memorial Hospital, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, Temple University. He is the Gynecology Patient Safety Officer and co-chair of the Surgical Obstetrical Assistance Team at Abington Memorial Hospital. He completed Ob-Gyn residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in June 2012. Presented 'Characteristics of Recurrent Endometrial Cancer' at Abington Ob-Gyn Senior Resident Research Day in June 2012. Published 'Approach to 4-Benzoyloxymethyl-cyclopent-2-enone, a Precursor to the Helminthosporols' in Synthetic Communication in 2005."
