Sunrise Seminar II: Cancer in the Elderly: Chemo, Surgery, and Frailty

Description: The course will provide an overview of demographics regarding age and gynecologic malignancies. Additionally, faculty will discuss data on how elderly patients are treated today (comparing to younger age groups) focusing on surgical therapy, and outcomes of such therapy. During this session, the concept of geriatric assessment will be introduced and we will discuss the data and planned trials using it preoperatively.
