Biographical Sketch:
Martin Martino, M.D., is the medical director of the minimally invasive robotic surgery program at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA. He is board-certified in gynecologic oncology and obstetrics and gynecology. He completed a Galloway fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a gynecologic oncology fellowship at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and the University of South Florida. He created the first interactive app to help educate residents and fellows about in Robotic Surgery 2009 to improve understanding about robotic surgery. He is a co-founder of the Robotics Training Network (www.robotictraining.org), which is a social network developed to collaborate and standardize training for residents and fellows in both obgyn and surgery programs. He has co-produced numerous apps in medical education and is helping to develop the the field of wireless medicine. Dr. Martino has been a da Vinci surgeon since 2008, and has completed nearly 600 procedures for cancer and complex benign disease."
