Biographical Sketch: Dr. Amir Jazaeri is an Associate Professor in the division of Gynecologic Oncology at Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Virginia. He completed his undergraduate, medical school, and residency training at UVA, followed by a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the National Cancer Institute and MD Anderson Cancer Center. In addition to caring for women with gynecologic cancers, Dr. Jazaeri also has an active translational research program focused on developing earlier detection and better treatments for ovarian cancer."
